Seeds for Growth in Cambridge specialises in running workshops that combine arts, technology and cutting edge, easy to use software to bring exciting learning experiences to a wide range of client groups.

In a Nutshell

Client Groups

We have developed and managed projects for schoolchildren, young people at risk, prisoners, people experiencing homelessness and long term unemployment, people with physical and mental health problems, social inclusion practitioners and many more.

We also run regular Tuesday workshops, free for anyone to participate in, that focus on software and games development.

Our Workshops

Combining arts, technology and easy to use software – developed by us – we can put together a workshop for your clients, of whatever ages, backgrounds and skills, that can last for just a couple of hours or for up to two weeks.

And if you don’t have space to run a workshop, we can provide it.

Our Team

Our team brings together in-depth skills from a broad range of sectors, including software development, theatre production, electrical engineering and robotics to create challenging, stimulating and mind-expanding workshops that are designed to keep your clients engaged, active and creative.

With decades of experience of social inclusion practice under our belts, we’re sure we’ll be able to put together a workshop that meets the needs of you and your client group.

Open Workshops

We run open workshops in Cambridge  – anyone can come along, just register yourself at our regular, Tuesday Meetup Group.

Join us to find out how to use Droidscript in your project. If you’ve ever wanted to create some code that will bring your project to life, but have been put off because it all looked too complicated, then these Droidscript meetups are for you.

Dave Smart, the creator of Droidscript, will be on hand to help. So if you’ve already got a project that you want to develop, or if you’re just thinking about starting something and would like to know how to embed some code in it, then come along.

Every Tuesday, Makespace, Cambridge

We’re here to help!
