Bridge house is a new housing development estate based in Homerton which has no suitable garden space for residents to grow. However, a good portion of the residents' homes had large balconies which could be utilised.

In April 2023 Greening Communities produced and gave 30 Balcony Growing Kits to residents at a Bridge house community event where approximately 30 residents registered to join the Bridge house Green Balcony programme.

In July, Greening Communities returned to the estate as part of the council led community Big Lunch event, in which we had a chance to check in with residents regarding the kits, as well as give away over 20 chilli plants.
